Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, Illamasqua Freak Perfume, Dead Sea Spa Magik Delicate Boosting Mask, Nail Rock Nail Wraps in Leopard and FC5 Swiss Ultra Hydrating Hand Creme
via Glossy Box *

Glossy Box Time! You know that time of the month the postman brings our little pink boxes of joy or disappointment! I've had mine a bit earlier this month so I could feedback on some of the actual products rather than first impressions like alot of other Glossy Box reviews.

Nail wraps just aren't my thing, I cant put them on for the life of me so I was a bit sad seeing them in the box. I did get leopard print ones though which is nice though. I don't know how I feel about them being included as well as Im sure only 3-4 boxes ago they already had some in. I keep wanting to buy Illamasqua Freak whenever I go past a counter but Im still not sure if I really like it or not. The smell is totally different from any of the perfumes I've sniffed before. I think because its a unisex perfume its muskier and stronger than I'd normally try. We shall see next time Im near a counter if I give in or not!

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is something I've wanted to try for a longtime, its got rave reviews but the price has always put me off. It left my fine hair feeling really nice and soft and moisturized, which I was pleasantly surprised about. I've never used a pre shampoo treatment so I wasn't sure what to expect! The hand cream is actually really nice, I really use them that often but this one smells delicious, Like kiwis! and Its not sticky or greasy at all thankfully! I've not tried the Dead Sea Spa Magic Mask yet because of a reaction I've had to a different product I've been trying!

Overall its a average to good box, Nothings full size (apart from the nail wraps) but the samples are good generous sizes (apart from the vial of perfume) from good quality brands. Compared to other Glossy Boxes recently this isn't probably going to excite people as much as it could do, but its nice to see Glossy Box settling into doing sample sizes, which to be fair is what the service is all about. I dont know yet if Glossy Box have something special lined up for the December box or not, but I reckon it might be worth subbing for next month as you'd kinda expect a "special" box as its Christmas!
ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMER: I am now a "Glossy Box Ambassador", which means I'll be working with the brand on various bits of content, providing feedback straight to the brand and getting my boxes free from now on. This doesnt affect my feelings towards Glossy Box, as I have been subscribed for the past 4 boxes and if you know anything about me, you'd know Im honest regardless of if Im given something for free or not.

  1. Jealous of the mask and the Elasticiser - I got a face cream and bath salts!

  2. The print on those nail wraps is amazing, give them a go, they could be fab!

  3. I tried everything as soon as it arrived! Such an eager beaver. The face mask irritated my skin, though, I should've tested it before putting it all over my face and leaving it for 15 minutes! Gah! So splotchy splotcherson right now! I hope you're right in that the Dec box will be super special. that would be amazing. I was going to unsubscribe this month and try out Feel Unique but I will hold off until Jan! Dying to try Feel Unique boxes! x

  4. I like the idea of nail wraps but if I got them I would put them on one finger at a time, like with nail art you see a main design on the ring finger, that way they would last longer, I saw someone do it & I think its a good idea!

  5. i'm still totally undecided about whether i should sign up for any of the boxes. i'm far too indecisive for my own good.
the nil wraps look really pretty, though! although, i'm pretty terrible at applying them, too! haha.

  6. Not got mine yet, and I'm already dissapointed :(

  7. Ive been debating signing up for this, but still can't decide if it's worth it! How much is it each month? Xx

  8. Congrats on becoming an ambassador ! Lucky to get them for free. I'm kinda intrigued by these leopard nail wraps, but I've never tried wraps before so I don't know how hard/easy they are to get on. Would love to see them on you, but disappointed you're not a fan so probably won't see them on ! x

  9. I unsubbed for this months, glad i did really, not a very interesting box :/ congrats on being an ambassador, so lucky!

  10. They've sent you some great products! I'm a huge fan of Dead Sea products and also the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, hope you get great results with them too.
    Chloe x

  11. Hmm I got mine this morning and I'm a bit underwhelmed... I got bath salts and a facial moisturiser instead, and my nail wraps are black and white stripe... any1 wana swap!?

I Will be un subscribing after december and sticking with the feel unique beauty box! xx

  12. Really don't like this month's box, so much so that I'm sending it back for a refund and cancelling my sub :(

  13. I wish there was something similar to Glossybox in my country too

  14. I'm a huge fan of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer! Works wonders! Trying to decide which beauty box I want to sign up for - too many to choose from! :)
