collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer: boots/superdrug (£4.19)
This is possibly my all time favourite concealer. I've tried tons over the years from Bobbi Brown to MAC to ELF. None I've really been wowed by though! I tried this initially thanks to the blogasphere, I think most drug store things I buy nowadays are based off what I see online. I just cant trust it! I think I first saw Tanya talking about it and saw more and blogs mention it, Could hardly miss out!
What I like about this Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer is that its really soft and creamy. I find some tend to be too thick which makes it hard to blend or too greasy and sinks into all the lines around my eyes. I like using it mostly under my eyes as it covers my dark circles really well and doesnt feel drying or tight. It has some of the best coverage I've seen on a drugstore concelaer. The packaging is sleek and simple, the doe foot applicator makes it great just to dab a few dots on then blend out with a finger or a brush. I dislike makeup that makes obscure claims like "16 hours wear", It does last really long time, but I highly doubt it would last 16 hours without needing reapplication!
This is the second Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer I've bought since discovering it. I use shade medium which is probably a touch to dark for my natural skin, but fine once I've got my foundation/bronzer etc on. For the price its a absolute steal! I think its nice to have a drugstore product that really does live up to what it claims! A must have if you ask me!
I swear by this concealer, it is so good, especially for the price! I've nearly used up my first tube, so I will definitely be repurchasing soon!

I've been dying to try this for ages but collection 2000 is a bit of a nightmare to find but I'm actually going to superdrug tomorrow so I'm hoping to pick it up :) x
ReplyDeletei've been using this for ages now. i think i'm almost finished with my second tube. i love it. definitely the best concealer i've found. at least by drugstore standards :)

I absolutely swear by this - it's so reasonable and I think I'm onto my third or fourth bottle now! I see no reason to try any others because this one is just perfection - lolz at the pun ;)

ReplyDeleteI'm on my 3rd tube of this now! Such a great product. The only thing that bugs me is the writing rubs off so quickly so I always forget what it's called! Haha! Can't complain for the price though.

ReplyDeleteI love this stuff! I wouldn't even glance at the Collection 2000 stand if it weren't for the blogosphere - so glad I discovered this. It even comes in a shade light enough for my pasty face :)
ReplyDeletei use this concealer as well, i accidentally bought shade 1 so now use that under my eyes, and use shade 2 everywhere else. i sometimes find that after a while the formula becomes a little gloopy (which is a bit disgusting) but for £4 or so, i'm okay with replacing them. i'm happy that a drugstore concealer has beaten most of the high-end ones; however, has anyone else found the packaging gets clogged up and the writing wears off so easily? that's the one thing i HATE about this concealer and i somehow manage to get it on every other piece of makeup i own

I've seen loads go on about it on Youtube, I currently use Benefit Boi-ing but like you say it tends to crease as its slightly to thick and just sits on my skin waiting for a tiny rise in temperature so it can slide off my face and show the world my horrible dark circles!! lol

Oh this is tempting! I currently have the Bobbi Brown cream concealer which is great under my eyes but could do with another for everything else, and at that price it's worth a shot.

ReplyDeleteSince I got it I don't even use foundation anymore, all my previous concealers were bad so I covered myself in foundation but this is a wonder product!

It's definitely my favourite concealer too, I've done a review myself :) Highly recommend! I love the consistency of the product, and yeah it lasts a while! Never really checked after 16 hours to be honest.. cleaned it off way before then! haha
