Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes

Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes review swatch photo
Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes: Superdrug (£2.99)

Kate posted on Twitter that she wanted some makeup removing wipes so I mentioned I'd been using the Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes so decided I'd just quickly review them for here! To take my makeup off I normally use facial oils, I've never really enjoyed using makeup wipes. Most of them dry my skin out and leave it super tight and uncomfortable. Generally I find makeup wipes to be really convenient and "quick", just not that great for my skin. In my Company Magazine Goodybag I got a packet of them and took them to Cardiff with me because I was going to stay at a friends house and didn't want to take my whole face routine.

I like the Kleenex Facial Wipes because they are really gentle on the face. I don't feel like I need to really scrub to get my face makeup off. I do use na extra eye makeup remover (Bioderma) to remove my eye makeup as I don't think they are intended for eye use. However they do a decent job of the rest of my face. The texture of the wipes are unlike any wipes I've tried in the past. They are slightly quilted and feel really durable, they remind me a bit of toilet paper in a weird way but thicker. They are super soft and dont irrirate the skin, with a light fresh scent to them. I really like that feel moist without being too wet if you get what I mean!

And to quote Kate "think i'll go with kleenex - if they can take off @llymlrs makeup then they must be industrial strength ;)" Maybe not industrial strength but they do a good job and the price is really reasonable for a facial wipe.

  4. Huggies Pure Baby Wipes have a similar texture, but they're a lot cheaper and much bigger too! Perfect for sensitive skin as well. Please say it's not just me who uses Baby Wipes to remove their makeup on lazy days instead of skincare wipes?! x
