mac impassioned lipstick: MAC (£13.50)*
MAC Impassioned Lipstick is described by MAC as a "Amped up Fushia" with a Amplified Cream finish. I'd describe it as a watermelon pink, its very very bright pink with a coral/orange tinge to it. Before I caved and bought the Viva Glam Nicki lipstick, I would have said it was the brightest lipstick I owned as it has a almost neon quality to it. However I'd say Nicki is similar but much lighter than Impassioned. In all my MAC lovin' years I've not actually tried a Amplified finish. I think its a pretty good formula, Its opaque and creamy without being drying. The colour is very intense, which to me suggests the formula is for the more bright and pigmented lipsticks in the MAC range. Like all MAC Lipsticks it has the usual unoffencive vanilla scent. Once again Im not disappointed by a MAC Lipstick, I didn't need this shade but I do love it!

Impassioned is such a pretty lipstick. It's one of my favorite pinks. I think the amplified formula is the best that mac has.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite MAC shade is plumful. It is exactly the colour you would expect, yet it can be worn really sheer as it is a lustre finish. You should try it out :)
