Daniel Sandler Billion Dollar Body Shimmer: look fantastic (£20)*

The Daniel Sandler Billion Dollar Body Shimmer is a jumbo sized body warm golden highlighter, Although it looks like a bronzer it's not actually designed to be a bronzer. Daniel Sandler explains that it intended to be used as soft shimmery glitter on tanned or dark skin tones to highlight and add shape.  Billion Dollar Body Shimmer is perfect for holiday evenings or would be suitable to be worn on nights out. It may be too glittery for some peoples taste but it really does look wonderful on the skin, adding a fresh, healthy sheen to the skin. The product is simple and easy to use and comes with a puff that makes blending onto the neck, d├ęcolletage and legs effortless. I preferred using a brush to apply the puff that comes with the product works absolutely fine as well. The powder feels soft even though it's glittery, which surprised me as most glittery powders tend to be on the chunkier side. It's not very pigmented so doesn't come out very dark on the skin, but this would probably only suit darker or tanned skin tones. The product itself is huge at a whopping 15g of product so you get a lot of product for your money!

On the Daniel Sandler website he demonstrates how to use the Billion Dollar Bronzer on a Model and shows the effect better than I can via a photograph. I've also used this on my lids and smudged under the eyes  for a warm bronzy look. I wouldn't recommend using this on the face as it is slightly to glittery for a facial bronzer, but perfect for the body! Overall a nice body shimmer product, I like it because it's a powder rather than an oil or a lotion, it's much less messy and doesn't leave you with that slick oily feeling!

  1. I love the look of this! Such a stunning colour, probably not for my pale skin but it really would look amazing on darker skin tones x

  11. This looks like it would be loovely with a tan, but for me it's not worth the money for something I'd probably only wear very very rarely xx

  12. I think this would be such a good idea for something to add to a tan that is actually natural. Always hate when a natural tan from a few weeks away on holiday starts to fade. I reckon this product would enhance the tan and generally make it appear as though it is lasting longer. Definitley a product I would consider buying!
