Ojon Dry Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner

Ojon Dry Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner
Ojon Dry Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner: John Lewis / Ojon (£18 & 19.50)

I mentioned in my recent empties video about my love for the Ojon Dry Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner Duo, but I have no idea why it's taken me so long to get around to reviewing them! I never thought I'd actually splash on Shampoo and Conditioner. Haircare used to be the least of my beauty worries. I used to buy whatever shampoo was on offer or the massive bottles of TresSemme (normally the dry one or the volumising one) as I really begrudge paying for "everyday" beauty products! However The Ojon Dry recovery shampoo and conditioner recently worked its way into my life and has changed my perception completely of higher end haircare. I don't throw the phrase "Holy Grail" around a lot, Im fickle soul and I try new things all the time so it's hard to say something is my all time favourite. Ojon Dry Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner are an absolute dream to use.

Every time I use it it leaves my hair soft, smooth and so easy to manage. I can't really type out in words how different it is compared to using other conditioners and shampoos unless you've tried it for yourself! Much to most peoples horror I didn't actually use to use Conditioner very often. My hair is pretty normal and it's only the ends that seem to get dry because of the Ombre. To condition my hair I normally just used a good few pumps of hair oil (I like the Organix Morrocan Argan Oil or Morrocan Oil or Morrocan Oil) and run it through the ends. The Dry recovery conditioner has to be my favourite conditioner that I've ever used. Like I said this review is going to be a pretty standard review in terms of what it does, It is a conditioner after all. But it leaves my hair so different from any other conditioner that I've previously tried. Both the Shampoo and Conditioner are super creamy and so easy to work up a good lather. I can feel it working even after one application as my hair is noticeably sleeker and smoother after one use. The shampoo is also very hydrating and does also good job at removing product buildup and leaving my hair feel clean and fresh without stripping it.

Overall I can't recommend the Ojon Shampoo and Conditioner Dry Recovery more. It's been a dream to use and like I said I'm proclaiming this as a "holy grail" combination for me. The only downside would be the price of the duo, and the fact I simply can't drop so much on Shampoo and Conditioner all the time as I go through so much of it. As I go to the gym most days I need to wash my hair everyday. The ammount of hair product I go through is crazy, especially with my long hair. I normally use a different shampoo every other day to try and save some of this! I've already repurchased this and Ojon kindly gave me some more bottles of the stuff so I'm stocked up for the near future!

  2. Really want to try this! I try not to admit this but I'm a bit of a QVC freak and you can get this shampoo and conditioner in a pack for £26.12 at the moment off their website! They have all the different bottles for different hairtypes for reasonable prices too!
