60's inspired nude lipstick
Sorry there aren't any product shots of this! I couldn't actually find the images I took of it! But they are basically slimmish blue metallic bullets! Anyway! 17 Mirror Shine lipstick in Beehive is the perfect creamy nude pink lipstick. I was late to the party on this lipstick as I remember there being a bit of hype around it many years ago when I first started getting into blogging. It's incredibly similar to one of my all time favourite lipsticks, MAC Hue. They both have the same sort of colour family and texture. Slightly glossy and semi sheer, it enhances my lips natural tone and shape. I'm not a huge glossy lips fan and I find nudes to often look too milky on my pigmented lips but for this one seems to work really well for me. It looks fresh, girly and really soft. Defintely one to try if your looking for a MAC Dupe or a Drugstore nude!

Wow that looks lovely on you! :) x
ReplyDeleteThese pinky nudes look lovely on you! I really like the 17 lipsticks, I've bought quite a few of the supreme shine ones and love the nude they have called 'bella'. Def get it a try next time your in Boots :)xx

Lovely shade, it doesn't look like it has quite as good coverage as Mac for example, does it stay long?

This is such a beautiful shade!

I have this but I don't think it's that pigmented to be honest. It's more like a balm/gloss rather than a lipstick. Beautiful colour though and I can't really complain as it's so cheap!
ReplyDeleteI always struggle to find nude lipsticks that suit me but this looks sheer enough to be workable! xx

That looks absolutely lovely on you!! I've always had this lipstick in the back of my mind because of the hype so many bloggers/YouTubers have given it, but they're usually pale girls so I never gave this lipstick real consideration; now that I've seen it on you, I really want this!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad I live in the states haha :(

I used to HATE this lipstick but I dug it out after seeing it on you and I'm really enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely on you xxx
I love this lipstick! I brought it a couple of weeks ago for a nice every-day lippie. Its currently in the fridge as I ended up melting it a bit because of it constantly being in my bag :/

That looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteMy Hue lipstick has literally just run out - I'm having to apply it with my finger because it's below the metal! Definitely going to give this one a go to see how it compares as Hue is one of my staple lipsticks.
