Lip Balm Pots without the mess?
I remember when there was a big hoo-haa on the internet about the EOS Lip balms that came out a while ago. Super popular in the States by the sounds but a bit trickier to get hold of in the UK. I wasn't all that interested to be honest me as I tend to only ever use Carmex if my lips get a bit dry. However I was sent this and I thought the concept was really unique so I tested it out fairly quickly after receiving it which never normally happens!
I've said before but I don't like the dippy products, the ones you have to get out with your finger. I find it all a bit unhygienic and messy! Balmi's are sort of like inverted pots of lip balm, so the product is rounded to hold the shame. At first I thought it seemed like a novelty at first but I really do like the shape! This little blackcurrant flavoured one reminds me of a ball and chain though, but it comes in tons of flavours and Im really wanting to try the Mint one especially. The scent is fresh and really blackcurranty which surprisingly I actually quite like. It's not synthetic or too overpowering! Balmi's leave my lips soft, moisture with a slight glossy finish. In conclusion, Im a big fan of the Balmi packaging and the concept, I hope more brands catch on to this style as I really prefer using this to a pot!

I need this ! NOW !

ReplyDeleteI love these things like this! Every time I use my EOS balm in public my friends go like "what are you doing? what's THAT?!" haha, love it :)

Im the same I dont like lipbalms where you have to stick your finger in to get some out. No, I prefer normal "sticks" or tubes. And as this looks fun to use, it's not me. But it's nice to read an honest review! :D
