clarins oydessy face palette: £35*

Perfect all over glow

Clarins Odyssey Face Palette is part of the upcoming Clarins Oydessy Collection for Christmas 2012 from Clarins. A beauty greek inspired face highlighter, which is possibly the most beautiful makeup item I've seen in my whole life. I actually really didn't want to start using it as it would ruin the overspray and pattern! Unlike most highlighters I find it to be illuminating rather than glittery. I apply it all over my face using a large fluffy brush to get a light but even application but it can also be used to highlight specific areas like the bridge of the nose, tops of the cheeks and cupids bow. The Odyessy Face Palette leaves a soft, satin finished illuminated glow with minimal shimmer or glitter, even though I think there is a bit going through it but nothing drastic or tacky looking! After the first few goes the glittery overspray completely came off and I was left with a soft warm beige powder. The powder itself felts absolutely butter soft, I've never touched anything so smooth and finely milled. I'd say this product will suit most skin tones from light to medium and possibly darker ones as it isn't pigmented just very warming.

This is just beautiful, exciste and a complete luxury. I adore this and have been using it so much since I went to the launch of the Clarins Christmas 2012 Collections. It's on the pricey side, but I can't rave about it enough. This would be perfect for a Christmas gift for a makeup loving friend or to ask for if you can't afford it! These should be on counter by October time so keep an eye out!

  11. That really is one of the most beautiful makeup products I've ever seen. It would probably end up never being used though since I wouldn't want to ruin it! :(
It looks gorgeous on you though, very subtle but warm and pretty; maybe I'll splurge on myself this Christmas!
