Extravagant Loose Powder
This is one of those items I completely bought on a whim. I've seen it a few times in store and always pondered over it, I read a few reviews before buying it but didn't think so much into it. I don't really like loose powder but was sucked in with the sleekness of Givency's branding and the fact I had a sneaky Debenhams Beauty Reward Points that I thought I'd spend on something I really wanted. The Givency Prisme Libre Loose powders are loose powders with 4 different colours separated into four different compartments. Each shade is designed to work with your complexion colour and flatter the skin tone by taking away dullness, brighten, even out the skin tone, illuminate and refine.
When applies it feels silky smooth, glowy but not dewy with a sort of soft focus, light finish. Its hard to explain but it almost looks like a matte glowy finish, kinda like a satin finish but more matte. It's not chalky in the slightest which is normally my main gripe with loose powders. The shade I have, Delicate Beige, Doesn't make my skin look pale or leave a colour cast. I apply this with a large powder brush and just buff it lightly onto my face where I get oiliest (T-zone, chin, cheeks). I really like using this under my eyes on a fluffy brush as I feel it really brightens the area and keeps my concealer in place.
It's really overpriced for what it is and I do feel comfortable admitting that, So I do understand this is ut of most peoples price ranges. However, I really like it and I reach for it most days to set my foundation as well as touch ups during the day. It really was one of those luxe, extragavent purchases but I am totally happy with it and no complaints about it at all! I'd say this powder is perfect for oilier skin types, especially if you have to touch up during the day as it doesn't cake or build up when applied.

Ive never used any loose powder except mac.. this looks soo nice though , i love how its split into 4!! x

I really like how there's four colours, but I'm not sure if I would spend so much on a powder :/ looks gorgeous though!

my main issue with loose powder is that about 25% of it end up floating around and clinging to my clothes and hair, and not on my face or in the packaging at all!
