Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen in Peach Pave: boots / pixi (£12)

Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen in Peach Pave is a new addition to my daily makeup routine. I always go through phases of wearing the same sort of look over and over again. Recently I've been going back to my love of Chanel Illusion D'ombre in Emerveille smudged all over the lid and then I've been lining under my lower lash line with this Pixi Shadow Pen. The colour is a beautiful peachy pink gold (ROSE GOLD PEEPS!) shade which really compliments my blue green eyes perfectly. Im a big fan of pink eyeshadows, even though I know alot of people tend to steer clear of them! Also, Excuse the horrdenous close up of my face but I prefer to show products in use rather than a swatch on a hand or arm! Hopefully you can see what it looks like on! It's on my lower lash line if you couldn't tell!

The packaging is very "Pixi Cosmetics", light green with a girly floral design on the side. I do genuinely like Pixi packaging as it's a bit different from the usual cosmetics packaging! My only gripe with this Lid Last Shadow pen would be the fact it's not self sharpening and doesn't twist up. Im not actually sure how Im going to get more product out of it! But overall the application was very smooth and velvety on the eyelid area and the texture was smooth and creamy. It didnt crease, it was waterproof and stays on my lower lashes all day without migrating all over my face.  I really love this and will continue to use this on a daily basis! A+ from me!

  3. Such a pretty colour, and I love the packaging! Slightly odd that it doesn't twist up though, I guess it just looks like one of the products that do, and if it doesn't twist up it wouldn't seem like you get a lot for your money! :)

  12. I am automatically drawn to any kind of pinky gold product, so I shall definitely be giving this one a look. It seems to give quite a fresh-faced look without being too dull. Big fan. Cx

  15. This looks lovely but I'm really put off by the fact it doesnt twist up and doesn't have a sharpener. I really think make up companies should look harder at little things like that. xx

  21. It's supposed to be sharpened, Pixi has designed own sharpener meant to be used for these. :) But I think you can sharpen it with any kind of sharpener.
