In my quick reviews from last week I mentioned that I wasn't completely sold on the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstains. So, I know I've complained about my dislike for them already but this is basically just a lip swatch post to show how they look once applied to the lips. I hope it helps people if you're looking for which shade to buy! Essentially there is nothing wrong with them in the slightest. They are, like every review that I've seen of these are long wearing, moisturising and really easy to apply. When applied they feel like just like tinted lipbalm and wear very comfortably. I do like that they twist up and you dont have to worry about sharpening them, and I also really like the tingly minty freshness to them. They just personally don't do all that much for me! I can see why people like them but they aren't my cup of tea. I prefer brighter colours and matte finishes compared to the soft glossiness of the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstains. God knows why I bought three, as I bought them all at separate times!

I agree with you, but i also don't think the shades are very nice. I much prefer pinky/nude shades and these just dont cut it for me.

I think these shades look lovely on you, Honey seems like an ideal everyday shade to me! I get what you mean about them being a little too soft in colour as I also prefer a darker matte lip but I find these great for days when I'm in a bit of a rush and just want a fresh faced look! xx

ReplyDeleteHoney does look nicer on than in the stick, I bought 3 as well including cherish which I supremely dislike how light it is. Lovestruck is a bold and lovely fushia and darling I have found wears off in a weird way...Overall I am not over the moon about them either:P

i have the balmstain in crush. i wore it to leeds fest - post on my blog - and i have to say i love it under a darker lipstick such as boots 17 in new black, and i think i may be picking up honey very soon, i guess it's just personal taste!
