I dont know if this is even a good idea for a video or not because I can't actually talk about how I blow dry my hair. However I am often asked how I do my usual straight hair style. I'm lucky to be blessed with naturally straight hair, but it takes forever to dry. On average it'll be around 20 minutes. For the sake of this video I left it to air dry a bit before attempting to dry it so it didn't take as long! I don't actually do anything apart from blow dry it roughly with a hair dryer and hope for the best! I wish I could actually blow dry my hair properly but I'm all fingers and thumbs when it comes to using a brush and a hair dryer!
First off I use the Bumble and Bumble Texture Creme, It's my all time favourite hair product and I've raved about it a fair few times. I mainly apply this too the underneath part of my hair, focusing around the roots area to try and give my hair a bit of texture. With it being so fine adding texture is my number 1 concern. I then use a hair oil, for the sake of this video I use a Wella Professional Luxe oil which was absolutely gorgeous. It smelt divine and left my hair feeling really sleek and nourished without leaving a greasy feel to it. I have to admit I was surprised how lightweight it felt once I rubbed it in. I then take my hair dryer and just blow dry until it looks dry! I scrunch my hair as I go along to make give it more texture and volume. Then once my hair's dry I normally spritz a few pumps of the Ojon Spray and then go over it again quickly with the hair dryer. After that I'm done! Sometimes I'll use hairspray or dry shampoo to add a bit more texture into my hair but thats it!
Hope you enjoyed the video and feel free to check out my other videos!

Amazing routine! Unfortunately, I have extremely knotted hair, especially when wet, so my routine consists of 90 minutes of trying to get a comb throw my hair! xxx

ReplyDeleteI've had stretched ears for a while, they used to be 25mms when i was 16, they are currently 6 but i doubt i'll go much bigger than 10!
DeleteI'm stretching mine atm, how long do you normally wait between stretches? I've never noticed you had them before, I think cos you hair always covers you ears!
Deleteyour hair is so beautiful! the lighter colour looks really nice :) your hair has a really nice natural curl to it when it's wet, but i bet it would take an entire day to air-dry!
ReplyDeletegoing to try the messy parting and "scrunching" blow dry technique next time i do my hair. dont think my lion's mane will ever match up to yours though! :'(

I picked up the Texture Cream from Bumble & Bumble tonight and can't wait to try it out tomorrow. I've been looking for a texturizing cream for fall/winter so I can use the flat iron less and then saw your video. Hope it works as good for me as it does for you!

Cheap designer cheap omega watches are already practical, but watch them get
