basic everyday palette

The Acessorize Lovely Day Palette contains an impressive selection of neutral toned eyeshadow in matte, shimmery and satin finishes. The colours range is very versatile and wearable. With a few bright pops flowing into a large variety of neutrals and shadows perfect for a smokey eye. This is definitely a palette for beginners, as it would be a perfect for creating everyday looks to more dramatic evening looks. I can see this suiting a of skin tones too. Overall I found that all the shadows are pigmented, soft and apply fairly well onto the lid. They blend together effortlessly, although I would say they are best used with a primer as they do start to fade after a few hours wear. However on the whole they are pretty good quality eyeshadows considering they're fairly low price point. The packaging is fun (although not my personal taste) and really easy to transport around despite being in cardboard packaging. I think this would make a great gift for younger girls who are just getting into makeup and want a variety of shades to play around with. As far as value for money I think that £8.99 for 32 shades is outstanding price point considering the fair quality and the ammount of shadows within the Lovely Day Palette. Acessorize makeup is available in Superdrug and in Acessorize stores.
