primed and ready….
I needed a new primer, so a few weeks ago and after a bit of umming and ahhing I decided on the Clarins Instant Smooth Pefecting Touch. I've been loyal to the Benefit Porefessional for a while but I used my last dregs and decided not to repurchase it. I'm always looking for something that is going to give me a flawless base, longer lasting makeup and a soft, matte finish. Instant Smooth creates a really lovely flawless base by smoothing over the pores, blurring imperfections all to give a nice flawless look. It's really similar to Benefit Porefessional but it feels less greasy, pinker in tone and doesnt leave my skin feeling as tacky. As my skin is combination at the moment (darn change in weather!) So this has been the perfect primer. It doesn't make my drier areas look flakey or just sit on top of my skin and enhance oil. All in all, I think that this is an outstanding primer and I really wholeheartedly reccomend it. I love it just as much, if not more as Porefessional. It makes my skin look gorgeously smooth and keeps my makeup from sliding off my face. It gives the skin a soft focus look without blocking my pores and makes the skin look incredible. I can't recommend it enough!

Never heard of this before, how do you think it would work with normal skin, not oily?

I didn't really like Porefessional, it was so disappointing after reading all the reviews about it! This Clarins primer looks interesting though, I'll deffo be having a look next time I'm at a counter!

ReplyDeleteI've got the one of these that adds some fake tan to your face at the same time as priming, it's amazing! I'd definitely recommend it.

I have this and I am really really sad, because I so wanted to love it, but it makes me break out like crazy... I have pretty much clear skin and nothing makes me break out so bad... guess maybe I am allergic to some ingredient...
ReplyDeleteThis sounds the perfect primer for me...it's definitely on the wish list.
