skincare saviours this season

My skin is actually suprisngly good at the moment, I don't know how this has happened but for a change I am very pleased with it's overall appearance. My main skincare problems are blemishes (normally brought on from lactose), dullness, uneven skin tone and oiliness. The changing of the seasons has resulted in my skin getting a bit crazy so I've been very strict at trying to keep to my skincare routine as much as I can. I've pulled a few of my skincare hero products of the moment to share with you!

Alpha H Liquid Gold: This has to be my ultimate skincare saviour at the moment! I bought one of these a while ago but it split when I went on holiday and I sort of forgot how good it was. Liquid Gold is a chemical exfoliator that exfoliates the skin, aids the healing time of breakouts, calms and leaves the face looking super fresh and radiant after one application. I have to make sure I use a good moisturiser the day after but my skin looks incredible the morning after I use it. It's really hard to explain exactly how good it can make your skin look until you use it!

REN Glycolatic Peel: I heard alot of raves about this so I thought I'd jump on that bandwagon, I haven't looked back at all. It's possibly the best face mask I've tried. Packed full of fruit acid it gently exfoliates the skin leaving the face looking smooth and bright. I use this once a week for a Sunday night boost! This is perfect for blemish prone combination skin and especially those areas that are a bit congested.

Hyrdraluron: I was sent this and was a little bit indifferent about at first. My skin is very dehydrated and doesn't seem to like being moisturised too much as I find it just sits on the surface od mt skin. However after a few days of using this I actually really became aware how much this improved how my moisturiser sunk into my skin. Hydraluron is basically a serum that you apply under your makeup. Caroline Hirons explains in bit a bit more detail if you wanted to know a bit more about the actual technical side of how it works! I've noticed my makeup lasts longer and sits better on my skin because the areas that are drier (my nose and cheeks) are actually hydrated for a change!

Origins Out of Trouble Mask: My favourite mask for those days when my skin is broken out and really needs something to calm it down. I suffer from those horrible under the skin spots all the time and find this is perfect for helping with redness, overall size and reducing some of the pressure. This mask is sulfur, zinc oxide and camphor based but it also contains salicylic acid which is all stuff that works wonders on breakout prone skin!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir: I didn't really appreciate this product until I repurchased it. It's the perfect product for perking up the skin on those horrible winter mornings where there is nothing less you'd like to do than get up and get ready to do something. I'm not 100% sold on if it has skincare benefits but I do feel my skin is clearer and brighter when I do use it. I also love the uplifting, calming scent!

  22. Cellnique and Bliv in my opinion is a very good and reliable brand. My skin has had some major improvements over the course of 6 months. I have never used any product such as theirs before as my skin is really sensitive. Im truly glad that i have found a good product that works for my skin. I have been using Cellnique's Blackhead banishing kit and B'liv japan silk mask. They work wonders on my skin!

  23. It's good to know that these products have natural ingredients and that they will be good for sensitive skin. Organic products by river veda and the organic skin co also contain pure natural ingredients.

  24. Loreal, clinique, ponds, Aveeno are also good products for Skin Care. It is a fragrance-free lotion that disappears on contact, so you're left with just a quenched, smooth canvas.
