Products: Original Source Mint and Walnut Shower Scrub, Garnier Sugar Scrub, Philosophy Señorita Margarita*, Lush Big Shampoo & Conditioner, Pro:voke Touch Of Silver Shampoo, VO5 Moisture Soak Elixir, REN No1. Purity Cleansing Balm, Gillete Venus Breeze Razor's
I currently live in a house with 6 girls and we have one bathroom (although we have two loo's thankfully!) So we all try and keep a minimal amount of products in the bathroom as we can to prevent over crowding. I keep most of mine in this black box which I bought from Aldi about a year ago. It's the perfect size to store a few key products that I like to use on a regular basis. I do chop and change whats in here a lot, especially haircare. However these are my current in shower items! Reading my thoughts on them I don't actually love most of them! Maybe I need a shower refresh!

Original Source Mint and Walnut Shower Scrub: Possibly my favourite shower gel of the moment. It's super refreshing, uplifting and perfect for those days where dragging yourself to the shower is the biggest chore in the world. I love minty scented body products for that "tingly" feeling and this is no exception!

Garnier Sugar Scrub: I picked this up on a whim one day when I was in Bodycare and I've only recently started using it as my usual body exfoliator has run out. I do really enjoy it as it's very gentle and soft on the skin. Its great for daily use or getting a good scrub before applying fake tan.

Philosophy Señorita Margarita*: This is a multi use product and can be used in either the shower or the bath. It's currently my bubble bath of choice even though it doesn't foam all that much when put in the bath. I can sort of smell the salt and the tequila notes too, but lime is the most prominent. Although I wouldn't say its too sickly sweet!

Lush Big Shampoo & Conditioner: I've reviewed Big shampoo in full here but I recently purchased the solid conditioner to go along side it. Honestly Im not overly impressed with it as I find it hard to actually massage into my hair. However I'm going to keep using it as it does leave my hair feeling nice. Big is a pure salt shampoo which is quite weird to get used to at first but surprisingly it leaves my hair feeling soft, squeaky clean and soft.

Pro:voke Touch Of Silver Shampoo: This is a silver toning shampoo for blonde hair, although I've been using this for ages including when I had Ombre hair. This is perfect for those who are trying and rid their hair of pesky orange tones from lightening it. I use this twice a week for about 5-10 minutes and then wash it out like a normal shampoo. It removes some of the brassiness from my hair as well as enhancing the blonder tones in my hair.

VO5 Moisture Soak Elixir: I always bang on about this but I absolutely love using this as my in shower treatment. It leaves my hair feeling super soft, nourished and easier to manage. All you need to do is apply this to the ends of your hair, keep it out of the direct stream of water for about a minuite then rinse out and apply shampoo and conditioner as usual.

REN No1. Purity Cleansing Balm: While I'm not the biggest fan of this but I have been using it recently to remove my makeup so it's in my bathroom most of the time. It's not gentle enough to use on the eyes as it stings quite a bit if you get it directly in them. I'm determined to use it up though as it was quite pricey! If I remember I do try and take my eye makeup off with Bioderma or something and just use this on my face.

Gillete Venus Breeze: I love these Venus Breeze razors as they have the built in shave gel which if so convenient and takes up less space. I think Razor's are the thing I hate buying the most as they always go blunt so quickly and are SO overpriced! But unless I want my underarms to look like I have stuck a small rodent under there I have pay the price!

  1. Urgh I totally agree with you about razors! I use the Venus Breeze ones too, they're good but such a rip off. I just bought that original source shower gel on your recommendation and am looking forward to trying it out tomorrow! XO

Please check out my blog if you get a chance, I've just started out and any comments or followers would mean the world to me <3

  2. Razors are SO overpriced, you're right. And I have quite sensitive skin so I always have to buy Gilette. Recently bought those breeze ones and they're wonderful (which is a weird way to describe razors, but whatever!). That Touch of Silver stuff is so good! And I've become a bit of a Garnier slut recently, so I might try the scrub - really impressed with their products at the moment. x

  5. The Margarita bubble bath sounds pretty wonderful, something tequila-based to help lull me out of the winter blues!
I find with lush shampoo and conditioner bars, it's better to really work up the lather in your hands rather than massage it directly onto your scalp, as they're not full of all the usual chemicals they take a lot of working to get foamy. Hope this helps x

  6. Haha, a small rodent that is really funny! I hate buying razors too. I have the Garnier sugar and I find it really zingy- perfect for dull mornings!

  14. 6 girls?! I can't even imagine! I can't stand parting with my money for razors. But then I'm too fussy to use anything other than the nicest ones so I guess I can't complain xx

  20. I love the Provoke silver shampoo, I've used it for about a year. I was ombré for over a year but recently gone fully blonde. It's such a life saver! Especially when the bottle lasts me absolutely ages and is a fraction of how much a salon would charge.

  22. I absolutely love the Original Source Mint shower gel, it really hits you hard! (In a good way). I always just buy disposable mens razors, they are way better than the women's ones because they are supposed to be used on the face. I have had the Venus ones in the past but the price and longevity of them really put me off. Disposable manly blades for the win!
