light and contrast

Frontcover True Colours set is a beautiful boxed gift containing everything you could possible need to create a variety of neutral, classic, soft and sophisticated looks. Containing 24 different products including 6 baked eyeshadows, 5 pressed shadows, 5 glosses, 2 nail polishes, a eye pencil and so much more. There are photographic step my step instructions on how to create looks using the products. Shades within the kit range from  soft neutral looks as well as a few darker smokey shades for party looks. I think this is the ultimate cosmetic Christmas gift set. The shadows are creamy, super soft and so blend able,  all of which compliment each other and can be worn in multiple ways. The lip glosses are also sectioned off with plastic so none of the shadows will get into them and go goopy. Even the brushes are of high quality and aren't scratchy or stiff on the lid. It literally contains everything you could need to create wearable makeup looks. The packaging is brilliant and slim and can be stored easily as it looks like a book. All the contents is labelled clearly so when following the instructions you know your using the right items.

I was always skeptical of cosmetic gift sets, because I normally think they are generally unwearable shades orof poor quality. However I honestly think this is one of the best makeup christmas gift ideas I've looked at so far. All the items included are of a wonderful quality and all compliment each other so a variety of wearable looks can be achieved. The step by step instructions are perfect for beginners or more advanced skills so would be suitable for all abilities.  It looks much more expensive that the £25 retail price! I really can't rave about this enough and Im sure this would be the perfect gift for most girls who like simple neutral makeup but like the option of trying a darker look! If I got this as a gift I'd be completely chuffed! It's currently on QVC for £22 too (:

  10. I was looking at this earlier and it sounds lovely, the packaging is nice to not your typical bulky tacky packaging that most cheaper makeup sets have. :)

  11. I'd never consider getting these, just because they make me think of cheap make up. However, if I got one for Xmas I wouldn't be too upset if the quality is as good as you say :)
