Pixi A/W Nail Polishes

Metallic nail polishes...

These three polishes are from the Pixi Fall collection for 2012. All three little polishes retail for They come in tall slim bottles with very thin brushes, which Im not a huge fan of as I prefer a thicker brush. Although they aren't that hard to work with and apply the nail polish very smoothly. They retail for £8 which I think is a bit overpriced for what they are at the end of the day. I generally think £3-£8 is acceptable for nail polishes but I feel these are just a bit too much and would price them around the £5 mark, but hey I don't make the prices for stuff like this! Amazing Amethyst is a prettty mid tone purple shimmer, it took two coats to be opaque and applied smoothly. Classy Cococa is a taupe brown shade with a bunch of golden shimmer running through it. This is the perfect autumn shade as it looks very flattering against the skin. Evening Emerald is a teal, bluey green polish packed with shimmer. I think this looks incredible, consdering I dont really like shimmery poishes this one has really caught my eye. I love the way it looks in different lights and reminds me of mermaids! Id say Evening Emerald is my favourite of the bunch!

You can purchase Pixi from their online store, selected Boots and ASOS.

  2. I agree that Evening Emerald is the nicest and £8 is a bit steep for nail polish xx

    1. These polishes are awesome! They last so much longer than other nail polishes I have, so I'm willing to pay the price! My favorite is Classy Cocoa, for sure!

  3. I love jewel toned nails for this time of the year, I own Models Own Peacock Green which definitely reminds me of the Evening Emerald shade, that one retails for a fiver so is probably more appropriate price wise. The packaging for these ones are so cute though! x
