i like matte lips but...
I knew this lipgloss was going to be vom when I bought it but hey, You live and you learn. Or you live and you waste money in my case. Sleek Truly Mattely Deeply is a peptobismal blue toned milky pink lipstick. Part of this years PPQ x Sleek Makeup collection this is a super matte lipgloss with a chalky dry down. It enhances every single imperfection on your lips as well as just generally being a unflattering colour on my olive toned skin. It doesn't work for me and the formula is just oh-so wrong. It feels like I've coated my lips in soft chalk and I felt like I immediately had to wipe it off as my lips were suffocating. It does have a very 60's old fashioned matte lip vibe to it but I really cant see how it would be suitable to wear out. Maybe if I decided to dress up as Nicki Minaj it might just work, but for now… back to the depths of my lipstick collection!
I literally have no idea who this colour would suit, it reminds me of the crap make up you got as a kid to play about with! I really liked the idea of these too, I might still give the red one a go. xo

wow, i certainly haven't ever seen a matte lipgloss before (am i the only one who didn't realise they existed?) it's a shame that you didn't like it and whilst this post is warning us away from it, i can't help but be tempted by it? i'm not sure on the colour though and i do agree it is quite nicki minaj-y... X
