Despite being a hair oil convert I still find it so odd using anything oil based on my hair, I have this overwhelming fear of ending up with a greasy mess of hair. The Charles Worthington's Intense Rescue Melting Balm is a solid oil balm, not too dissimilar to facial cleansing balms. You apply a small ammount in the palms of your hands to melt it and then apply it in sections to dry, unwashed hair. You don't need a huge ammount, and I don't coat my whole head, just the ends of my hair. Leave for 20-30 minutes and then shampoo and condition. My hair felt instantly nourished, noticeably smoother and over time I've noticed a huge difference in my hair. This would be perfect for anyone with dry or damaged hair as it's an absolute dream for split ends and damage.

At £16.99 it's hardly drugstore prices but you can purchase this from most Boots and online. I bought mine for around £11 as it was on offer so not quite as eye waveringly expensive as its RRP. I do think if it was around the £10 I'd be very willing to pay that on a regular basis. I do think it's an excellent mask and definitely something that comes highly recommended from me!

  7. The name alone sold it to me! Sounds like a lovely product too, definitely something I'll be buying! I still worry about adding oil based products to my hair, but as long as I don't go past midlengths it's usually fine! :)

  14. I have exactly the same fear of every "oily" product, so always in doubt about them. It seems to be a new product for me in terms of application and use so i think i'll definitely give it a try! Thanks for the review :)
