red lip
I went into Topshop in Oxford Circus to take a look at the makeup counters and ended up coming out with Hedonist Lip Stick. Topshop Lip Stick in Hedonist is a neutral toned orange red matte lip colour. I love how it's not too red and not too orange and suits my skin tone perfectly. I don't really own any lip colours in a orangey tone so it's a welcome addition to my collection. I find the Topshop Lip Sticks to be long lasting, pigmented and creamy. Although be careful if your lips are a bit dry as these can cling to any dry patches. If you take a look at my dry lip routine it might help you prep your lips for something like this!
Topshop has also released some more of their Lip Sticks recently in the shades Royal, Suspect, Secret Party, Arcade and On the Cards. I noticed when I was swatching the other shades from this release that they all had different formulas compared to the original Lip crayons. Some of the finishes were sparkly, glossy or creamy which was strange as all the pencils I own from Topshop are very matte/chalky finishes. I'm going to have to purchase them I think to investigate them further!
