Pop Beauty Lid Bronzer, Channel Ombre D'Illusion in Emmerville, Benefit They're Real, Laura Mercier Brown Pencil in Warm Brunette, Pixi Lash Line Ink
Pop Beauty Lid Bronzer: This is the perfect cheap warm neutral palette, unlike the Naked Pallettes this one actually suits my skin tone, flatters my eye colour and is a lot smaller and travel friendly. As far as I can remember these are only £10 which is a bargain and perfect for neutral shimmer lovers who want a nice selection of shades to create a variety of looks. These actually come in a few different colour ways but Bronzer is my favourite!
Channel Ombre D'Illusion in Emmerville: I mentioned this in last years favourites and it's still going strong in my makeup collection. I have bought a few since as after a few months it does go a little dry to use. I've been using this as a base or as a wash of colour. Simple to use, fuss free and a really beautiful peachy champagne colour. Expensive but oh so pretty!
Benefit They're Real: I was recently given this at a Benefit event but I actually LOVE it. I was going to include Avon Supershock mascara and then this came into my life and I was just… wowed? I cant even explain why I like it so much, it gives my short, stubby lashes so much definition and length with minimal effort and fuss. It's a touch on the tough side to remove but a oil based cleanser does the trick.
Laura Mercier Brown Pencil in Warm Brunette: A recent addition to my routine but something that I've had a lot of love from. I decided to stop filling my brows in with powder a few months ago as my brows have actually grown back to a decent shape at the front. I'm toying with the idea of getting them tattooed in sometime in 2013. My brows have been through a transformation this year and I might do a post on it at some point!
Pixi Lash Line Ink: This was a easy and obvious choicec for my 2012 favourites! This has been my go-to eyeliner for the majority of the year since I discovered the Pixi Brand. Long lasting, pigmented, easy to apply and ever so quick. It's just perfect and I cant sing it's praises enough, I can see me using this long into 2013 and however long going forward. The true black finish just edges it into my favourite eyeliners of all time category.

I need to try that mascara!

Lily please don't get your eyebrows tattooed! You might want to change their shape in the next ten years you're still so young!! I understand it's a useful thing to do but I think its for older women personally! xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to get them tattooed I can recommend Katy Jobbins, she is the best one I've ever experienced. A lot of my friends had them done and the ink has since changed colour, where as mine are the same colour. They only last two years and Katy is very particular. I wrote a blog review after I had mine done that you might find helpful. http://www.lillaloves.com/2012/03/permanent-eyebrows-faq.html xx
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jerry, Don't get them tattooed yet! you are indeed very young to do that! Plus doing them doesn't take too much time, right?
ReplyDeleteWill you be doing hair favorites too? :)

I've been thinking of getting the naked basics pallette, but reading this I think I will definitely buy this one instead! You get more shades as well, for only £10?! I love the benefit they're real too, couldn't live without it (or maybe I could, but you know what I mean...)

ReplyDeleteI want to try a good eye shadow base so may have a look at the chanel one!
ReplyDeleteI use the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Eyeliner Pen and love it! Its so black, more than any of my gel liners, and easy to use. It seems to me that the Pixi one is very similar but the Maybelline one is half the price, so might be worth a try! :) xx
Love that mascara, definitely will keep on buying it!
