I filmed a video a few days ago of me doing a tag that the beautiful Patricia tagged me to do. I'm sick and I don't really look like me, but oh well! Hope you enjoy a chatty one from me for a change! the serum sounds amazing really want to try it, i can't seem to get on with the laura mercier silk creme foundation, i don't like the coverage and i find it a bit slimey :( ox

Really love your makeup and hair here Lily, you look so tanned! I actually like the no eye liner look on you, very natural (not that i think eyeliner looks bad on you! Your brows look great too :) I'm sure you get this a lot but you look like Cara Delevingne!

Hey, thought that was the loveliest advice you gave, it's hard to open up like that and let a little personal stuff out and i think you handled that really nicely and it was open and genuine and honest. Really great.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to make the move to London permanently, i know what you mean by a massive change, im from the tiniest village in the middle of nowhere but living in london is just so much more 'me' i've lived there on and off for the past 6 months and it's definitely developed me as a person!
I like the standing up videos too, it seems like you are a bit more 'free' you know with moving about and stuff. I agree with Lucy lou, i like rambling Lily too! lol

ReplyDeleteI'm just the same, really want to enjoy this year - make the most of everyday, I always say 'you could be hit by a bus tomorrow' but it's true and I would regret not making the most of things!
ReplyDeleteI fully agree, you definitely have to live life to the fullest, every moment could be your last. I had somebody I know pass away very unexpectedly recently and it really brings it home.

I agree with so many things you mentioned. Firstly monochromes, one of the easiest and simplest styles to rock and it can look so stylish and classic. I own so much black and grey marl and always pair it with a signature piece for a bit of colour.
ReplyDeleteMoving to London is a great achievement. Can I ask, did you move in with a flat share or a friend? How did you find that? I'm hoping to move next year after I've finished my PhD, but I dont think Ill have anyone to move with. I'm so excited about the idea of moving down there though.
The resolution to be more positive and to do everything is also one of mine. I'm inspired this year to do anything and everything.

ReplyDeletethis is such a lovely and inspiring video lily. i honestly wish i would live my life to the fullest more because i'm a constant worrier and do suffer from slight paranoia/anxiety that can really get me down sometimes but i know when i just don't worry about anything and just enjoy myself, i'm so much happier! the motto 'live everyday like it's your last' is also so true and deep and moving that i think everyone should at least attempt to live by it! and, lastly, you look gorgeous in this video (with or without eyeliner!) so ignore anyone who says otherwise! :) X
