L'Oreal CC Creams

L'Oreal CC Creams review swatch photo

CC Creams is the beauty Industries new darling, hailed as the next best thing in colour correcting beautifiers. They have all the benefits of BB creams with with adding tone correcting powers. The L'Oreal CC Creams come in three shades that have been formulated to help reduce redness, revive tired skin and counteract dullness. The magical creams claim to add a veil to the skin as well as boast a variety of skincare benefits.

L'Oreal CC Cream comes in the shades purple (to counteract dullness), green (to counteract redness) and peach (to couneract fatigue). I've tried out the purple one to counteract some of the dullness in my sallow skin tone. When swatched on the back of your hand to it looks super lilac, like its going to make your face look ridiculous. However blended in it adapts to your skin tone and the pigment evens out.The finish is flawless and glowly and does take a lot of sallowness out of my skin. However I don't think I'd wear it alone as it gives very little coverage which isn't to my personal taste. I do think worn under a foundation it would look really lovely.

I'm not sold on BB creams or CC creams or whatever the next double letter fad is going to be. Coloured primers aren't really new in the beauty industry either but it's nice to see something like this going onto the UK highstreet market. At £9.99 a pop they aren't super cheap but might be worth trying out if you have skin tone woes that need correcting.

  9. No.7 sell a green one that does the same and I love mine, but I don't think that any of these "CC creams" are worth as much as they cost!

  11. I'm definitely going to try the green one, as I use the loreal proffesionals green primer every day. I'm wondering if this cc cream might be enough coverage for me in summer.

  19. I bought the purple and the green one yesterday! If you're really pale steer clear, the purple one suits me fine but the green one is quite dark and orange. Xx

  20. I'm kinda curious to try the green one under my foundation to counteract my red cheeks and schnoz. I agree that a fuller coverage is needed!

  28. i've never been happy with my skin - it's blemished, it's dull, it's patchy - and i don't think i ever will be but these cc creams sounds interesting. i think i'll have to invest in these and try them out under my foundation and see if they can attempt to at least make my skin 'more like i want it'. also, as i don't wear make up on weekdays, maybe i can wear these instead, so my face doesn't feel quite as bare! 33. They should do a combined one. As some people can have several problem areas or perhaps 3 mini ones together. I have pale skin so I have a few problem areas and find if I buy something to correct one problem i'm still left with others!

  34. I'm not a huge fan of bb or cc creams either. I do agree that these might work well under a foundation but then again you can get lots of colour correcting primers.

  38. Hi,

I'm from germany and a fan of the big sister of this cream, the BB Cream by L'Oreal. I can not find the CC-Cream in germany, but I hope we get this cream in the coming weeks.

I would be very happy if I get this cream before it is offered in germany. Can you give me an online store where I can buy this cream and supplies to germany? I could not find an english online shop that delivers to germany.

    Many greetings,
    yvonne

P.S.: Sorry, my english is not so good.
