how much is your face worth? 2

how much is your face worth
Clarins Instant Smooth Primer (£26), Laura Mercier Radiance Primer* (£18.50), Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation (£33), Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.99), By Terry Touche Velouttee (£35), Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer (£8.99)*, Laura Mercier Mineral Powder (£32), Chanel Emerveille Illusion D'Ombre (£24), MyFace Eyeliner (£6.99), Chanel Volumes Des Chanel (£24), Hourglass Riviera (£23), Hourglass Arch (£26) = £262.47
I did one of these a while ago and thought I'd do another as it's been a good year since I did the last one. I change my makeup quite often at the moment and I've noticed that I've been using a lot more high end things than I used to. If you havent seen this tag before the basic gist of the tag (if you couldn't guess) is to list all the products you use on your face and then add them up to get the price of all the products you use. I think if I totted up all the prices of the skincare, treatments and all the other things I use on my face on a daily basis, one can only imagine how high that would be! Considering I actually bought most of the items I've worn I feel super guilty looking at all that money I spent on makeup... Maybe I need to do a budget version of one of these! How much is your face worth?

  1. I did these last year when they seemed the popular post to do, but I did one version which was all my lowest priced high-street products and one which was all high-end. The difference in price was a bit staggering! xo

  10. Oh god I don't even want to do mine because I'm pretty sure it'll be over £200 as well! I'm trying at the moment to spend less on makeup and more on skincare because I'm thinking my makeup will look better anyway if I invest in my skin :)

  27. This is such a cool idea for a post! I always kinda do this mentally in my head, but once I get past the $50 mark I feel too guilty and stop thinking about it. : ( I totally wanna do this as a post on my own blog. Both a high-end face, and a budget one.

  28. Gosh, I would hate to do this on my face, it makes me shudder to think how much all of my make-up is worth! Beauty is definitely an expensive love affair!

  30. i really don't like these kind of posts because it's so wrong. You don't wear the whole bottle of foundation of put all of the mascara in the bottle on your eyes. So you only wear a fraction of their worth. You could probably divide the number by 50-100, depending on how many times you use every item before you run out.
