2 True Glitterati Polish in Shade 4,5,6*: £1.99

I've had these lurking in my "to review box" for a while so I gave them a whirl on a swatch wheel. Boy was I pleased (and surprised!) I randomly decided to give them a whirl. There is no secret that I adore glitter polishes, at least 99% of the time I wear some form of glitter nail polish and I have a ridiculous amount of them in my collection. Im constantly looking for new ones but generally feel drugstore offerings off glitter polish is generic and always look the same. However these are actually a bit different from the shades I already own so these slip perfectly into my collection.

Shade 4 is a pretty purple inspired glitter polish with lilac and darker purple glitter particles in two sizes suspended in a clear base. I adore Shade 4, it's probably my favourite from these three. I can imagine it looking awesome with Essie Fiji or Models Own Utopia. Shade 5 is very similar, a clear base with two sizes of green and blue glitter in. Shade 6 is slightly different as it has a hint of pink going through the base polish so it tints the shade layered underneath a bit, and the two coloured glitters of this one are pink and iridescent gold.

At a budget friendly £1.99 these are excellent polishes and arent going to break the bank. I actually think 2 True is typically on 3 for £5 at Superdrug. I really adore the purple one and the way it looks layered over the lighter shade I picked. Like all the 2True I've tried in the past (I've swatched up a ton of them here), they havent let me down and are a wonderful cheap range of polishes that do the job. It's a shame they don't have actual names, Shade 5 isn't the most inspiring name for a polish, but gosh it looks bloomin' lovely!

  1. I'm obsessed with glitter polishes too & I love the look of these! Pretty but still really cheap, I really like shade 6 but I have way too many pink glitters as it is! (:

  5. I love the look of shade 4, very unusual, I agree with you that a lot of the glitters in the drugstores are the same and generic looking, but shade 4 is actually really cute and nothing like I already own. + super cheap!

  17. I love the 2True range but, like you, wish they had some better names. I often think this about Barry M as well. I am blaming you for my recent crushing on glitter polishes. My collection has gone from about 2 to 12! Emma.x

  18. I have a few of the 2True polishes and love them as well! Can't say I have any of these colours - the ones I have are still glittery but less 'particle' looking (if that makes any sense?!). Try looking for shade 4 (which is bizarre because they look like they double up on names/numbers.. how annoying!). Its a gorgeous pinky purple and one of my all time favourite cheaper polishes.

  20. I absolutely love Barry M's glitter polish as the glitter isn't too spacious when on your nail and gives it quite a good coverage! I just fnd hat glitter polishes are a nightmare to get off and so tend to stay away from them most of the time!!

  22. Just looking at the bottles I thought I'd like Shade 5 the best but I think on the swatches Shade 6 looks lovely and I like the fact it has a little hint of overall colour.

Might have to go pick these up and add to my already ridiculously big glitter nailvarnish collection.
