B. Stunning Vibrant Eye Shimmer in Copper: £6,99

I've never heard of the Brand B., It's available in Superdrug and is a very reasonably priced and varied range of cosmetics and skincare items. I'm not really a Superdrug girl as I don't actually live near one so whenever I do go to one I like to have a good browse. What caught my eye were the B. Stunning Vibrant Eye Shimmer's. I picked up the shade Copper which is a pinky bronze. I adore the colour, it's really pretty and compliments my green eyes perfectly. However I found that it creased almost immediately, and they applied quite badly. I struggled to get them to blend out without losing the majority of the colour. The formula is just a touch too wet, so as you blend the colour fades. Therefore, you have to add more product which makes it crease more.

It's a nice colour, and I do feel it would better alongside a primer or being set with powder. But overall, alone it doesn't quite live up to expectations. Actually this reminds me of the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Shadow Paints which I didn't like either. It's a dupe for those if you were looking to try the Shadow paints, but I'm not a fan of either. I did like the colour, but the lasting power and creasing put me off completely.
Have you tried these?

  1. Lovely colour, I think it's similar to the colour combo I wear religiously from my Naked Palette, but I majorly ceebs with anything that creases. Even the Colour Tattoos crease on me, so I think perhaps cream shadows just aren't for me.

    Looks lovely on you though!

  4. Looks like a really pretty colour. I have seen their range in Superdrug but not had a good look. I tried their Micellar water which was very good.
I might pick it up & try it with a primer, I love the colour!

  12. That's a shame the consistency isn't that great, I love the colour! It reminds me of my all time favourite cream copper eyeshadow from Bobbi Brown...I was hoping this was a dupe at a fraction of the price haha. x

    2. This may not have been the dupe, however; fear not! Maybelline Colour Tattoo eye shadow in 'And On Bronze' is incredible! I would definitely recommend it if you're looking something similar to Bobbi Brown's shadows!

  21. such a shame that they didn't turn out to be that good! this is my ideal shade of eye shadow and i think it's the perfect colour for easy, everyday make up. this colour suits you so well too and it must be annoying that it doesn't work all that well! i too hadn't heard of this range before until seeing an advert recently. at first i was interested but after reading this post i'm not as eager to check out their products. i may have a little look at their skincare though and see if that is any better! :) X

  23. I tried the pink one from this range, and it was utter crap! It was just a glittery fall out mess, which cost me £7!!! I've not bought anything else from the brand after being put off by these! Sooooo bad! Xx
