Bourjois 1 Second Nail Polish in In The Navy*, Barry M Blue Grape*, Essie Butler Please

In an attempt to get away from autumn winter nail trends (which I wrote about here) I've been using my noggin' to find out new ways to add colour to my winter nail-drobe without sticking to the usual nail trends. Im not a huge on the usual berry, darks and gothic shades on my nails. Therefore I have to get creative. Suddenly it hit me that I have a bunch of punchy not quite navy nails polishes waiting in the wings to adorn my talons. They are dark blues but still have that bright and statement edge to them. They can pop even the most dull of outfits and really compliment neutral tones like beige, brown and grey.
What do you think of these?

  9. I'm currently wearing Essie's Butler Please (after finding it at a local store for only £2) and it's definitely a new favourite of mine. It's been perfect to add colour to the amount of black I wear in the A/W months!

  14. I bought Essie Butler Please a few months ago and in the beginning I was OBSESSED with it... For some reason I got fed up with the colour and now I never wear it anymore haha. Maybe I'll change my mind in winter though, it's still a stunning colour.

  17. These look more like royal blue to my eyes but whatever lol. I really like when you wear neon or bright nail colours, they look amazing against monochrome outfits.

  19. Hi Lily!
Loving the nail colours - think the Bourjois Paris one is my fave :)
I only have one blue nail varnish in that kind of range (this post is making me realise I need more, lol) I have the Models Own, Velvet Goth, Valerian. It looks really quite dark in the bottle, but it's actually quite cheery on the nails.
