Revlon by Marchesa 3D Jewel Appliqués: £8.99*

While they are insanely beautiful, I don't like nail wraps. I find them hard to apply so they always look a bit rubbish. They often look messy and never look like they sit right on the nails. I was rummaging through my nail box, looking for something pretty to play with and remembered about these. I decided to give them a go and was absolutely blown away by the wraps. I'm literally typing this up right after I've applied them, A rarity for me.

The Revlon by Marchesa 3D jewel Nail Appliques are a collection of six different charmingly adorned nail wraps. Designed by fashion house Marchesca, each set is an intricate work of art. The appliques are highly decorated with a have a really luxe feel to them. I've applied Evening Garnet which are 18 different sized pink with 3d red and black gemstone inspired wraps. Initially applied base coat of Models Own Peach Fuzz, as an opaque base just a base, then applying the nail wraps on top. Unlike a lot of nail wraps, they applied so effortlessly. I found they weren't hard to place or struggle to find the correct wrap size for each nail. Due to the sheerer base of the nail wrap, afte I'd filed off the excess I wasnt left with  a rough white edge. The finish was very neat and precise. I don't think these have the typical nail wrap look about them which is a huge plus point for me as I hate that stuck on look. It doesn't look pretty, plus you aren't fooling anyone up close. However, these look perfect up close and from a distance, They look like you've spent ages getting your nails artfully adorned!

These wraps really have the "wow" factor about them and are awesome statement nails. They retail for £8.99 which I think is a fair price for what they are. They are high quality and come in stylish, highly decorated unique designs. I can't yet comment on the wear time as of yet, but I'll update you on them when I can. In my experience nail wraps don't last a huge amount of time because the tips wear easily, None the less they'd make great party nails!

What do you think of nail wraps?

  15. I always steer away from them too. Partly because of the price tag and the fact that if you screw them over you've just wasted a whole £9

These look great though, applied to perfection.

  19. Those are absolutely gorgeous! But do they not feel a bit heavy with the tiny gems? I find nail wraps to be a bit heavy so I'm always concious of them and end up peeling them off..

  33. These do look so good. Like you, I've not been a fan of the other nail wraps out there but these have definitely left me intrigued. Should probably let my nails grow a bit first because despite these being smaller, I'd still have a fair bit to file down!

  34. They look really great on your nails. I've been waiting for my nails to grow out a bit before I try my nail wraps out. I think I'm going to put some on tomorrow!
