lazy girls guide to… quick fix hair masks

lazy girls guide to… hair treatments review swatch photo

L'Oreal Ever Riche Perfect Elixir Mask, Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Condiotning Treatment
& Mark Hill MircacOILicious 2 Minute Intensive Treatment.

This week's LGG… is all about hair maks, Now I do like a good hair mask, having dry hair my hair loves having a weekly boost of moisture. But often hair masks can take 10, 20, 30… overnight to work their magic. 'Aint no Body got time for that! I'm often caught off guard before a night out with a haystack looking 'do and nothing works better at taming it that a quickie moisture mask. So I shall be rounding off some of my favourite speedy hair fixes!

L'Oreal EverRiche Perfect Elixir Mask was suggested to me by readers, and I've been using it quite a bit recently. So much infact I've already used one up. Even though it's a spray bottle it's marketed as a mask, which I thought was odd. But I'll roll with it. All you do is spray onto post conditioned hair, no waiting time (but I like to leave it for a minute or so!) and then rinse out. It's fast, easy to use and brilliant at bringing my dry hair to life. I've loved everything I've tried so far from the L'Oreal EverRiche range, this is no different. I found it to be super light but still very effective, all while being suitable for daily use (or however often you wash your hair) without making it feel greasy or weighed down.

Next I've picked a super swift working hair mask which I adore: the Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment. This works in 3-4 minutes and I usually use this in the shower also, just keeping my head out of the stream of water. It always leaves my hair feeling silky soft and nourished without all the waiting around. I also really recommend the TRESemme Platinum Strength 60 Second Treatment Shot. As the name suggests 60 second intense moisturising treatment which is great when you don't have much time to kill!

Another quickie hair mask is the Mark Hill MircacOILicious 2 Minute Intensive Treatment. This is an easy breezy 2 minute mask that is perfect for taming dry or dehydrated hair in a hurry. It adds an instant boost of moisture and leaves your hair looking healthier and shinier than you'd ever imagine. I adore the smell of this one it reminds me of sweets. Although it does smell quite strong of Ylang Ylang, so I'm not sure where I'm getting the sweet vibes from!

Honorable mention to the VO5 Moisture Soak Elixir in Shower Treatment which I think might have been discontinued as I haven't been able to find it for months and months. This was my favourite in shower hair mask as it was one minute blast of hot oil goodness and left my hair feeling smoother and more manageable after one use. I'm sad it's gone as I just don't really like the VO5 Give Me Moisture Hot Oil Treatment as I can never get them to work properly on my hair. I know they are quite raved about but I dunno, I felt the other worked much better for me personally!
