nearly nude makeup look

Laura Mercier Primer in radiance, Estee lauder double wear foundation,
guerlain four seasons bronzer in 03, NArs Deep Throat, bare minerals lash domination,
charlotte tilbury dolce vita eye palette, too faced brow kit, seventeen beehive mirror shine lipstick

This makeup look is a more polished twist on my no-makeup makeup that I talked about a few weeks ago here. A few more products just to pull the whole thing together. It's nude eyes with a hint of shimmer, pretty bronzed skin and a light glossy nude lip. I'm really enjoying wearing quite basic but flawless makeup at the moment, Focusing on the skin and big lashes.

As my skin is still playing up, I decided to go full coverage with the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Ecru. As I prepped the skin with the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer, my skin had a soft matte glow. ELDW alone is great, but I think it can often look too matte so mixing it with an illuminating primer it'll make it look a lot more glowy without taking away the matte effect.  I piled on the concealer which is my trusty Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. It's the ultimate in full coverage concealer and a must for anyone who suffers from similar skin woes like I currently am. Under my makeup I have such a horrible scarred pizza face!  I swept on some of my favourite bronzer: Guerlain Four Seasons Bronzer in 03. I needed to give to give my face some colour, and this is a brilliant bronzer that never looks too harsh or overdone. Simple, natural warm bronzer which really perks up the face. Then applied Nars Deep Throat Blush to the apples to boost up the colour on the skin. I never thought that I'd like pink blush on me, but this is really lovely and gives my face such a brightened look.

On my eyes, I dusted the lightest shade of the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette only lids. It's a stunning soft shimmery champagne that applies like a dream, Butter soft and really smoothly pigmented. I then popped on coats and coats of the Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara. This is to to give a wide-eyed doll like look. I really like this mascara when I'm not wearing liner as it really defines the lashes and gives them a huge pop. However it sometimes can look way too spider lashes so you really have to be careful when using this!  In my brows, I used my usual Too Faced Brow Kit in the blonde shade. This is just to fill the front part as they are a bit sparse, I don't like to overfill my brows anymore as they are naturally quite strong shaped.

I'm a recent convert back to nude lips. I used a recently rediscovered and old favourite lipstick in the form of Seventeen Mirror Shine Lipstick in Beehive. A soft pinky nude which is a near perfect dupe for MAC Hue. The formula is glossy but wears nicely and doesn't feel too slippy or tacky.
