I've been meaning to try the Rimmel 60 Second Nail polish for a while but believe it or not I've not actually indulged in the speed dry range before. I'm all for anything quick drying since if there is one thing I don't like, then that's waiting for my nail polish to dry! The Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polishes all have super wide "one stroke" brush which coat the entire nail. The packaging claims to dry in just 60 seconds, and I think it lives right up to that claim. They remind me a lot of the Bourjois 1 Second Nail polish formula's wise. Super quick drying, glossy with an extra wide brush. I found that each shade I trialled was opaque in one or two coats. Big thumbs up formula wise, now onto the colours.

Breaking some more winter nail stereotypes with winter pastels. In the cooler months, I tend to be drawn the more muted, creamier shades of nail polish. First we have Rimmel 60 Second nail polish in Mary Mary Quite Contrary a light lilac shade, it has a slight grey edge. It's a really wearable shade and right up my street as it's a less muted version of Models Own Utopia. Then we have Rimmel 60 Second nail polish in Little Bo Peep which is a stunning glossy grey with a hint of blue. And rounding things off I've picked Rimmel 60 Second nail polish in Caramel Cupcake. A mid tone peachy nude. This is probably the trickiest shade of the three to wear as it might not be suitable for some skin tones, but on me it looks like a very pretty neutral nude peach.

I love these three tones, and I think they make perfect additions to my winter nail wardrobe. They are all pastel with a little edge that gives them a little some else that takes them from spring summer pastels to autumn winter ones. They remind me of a collection of polishes that Zoya released a while ago as well. I also cant say anything bad about the formula od these polishes. They apply so well and are really stand out nail polishes from the drugstore. At under £4 you really don't have an excuse to not buy them!
Have you tried the Rimmel 60 Second nail polish range?

  13. These colours are so pretty. I do think that light pastel colours look equally as great as the typical dark colours worn during the colder months. Rimmel nail polishes are always so affordable and good quality in my opinion so yes, you definitely cannot go wrong with them. They also last a long time too :)

Thank you for the swatches~ My favourite is little bo peep ^^
    Have a great day <3
