bumble & bumble quenching range

bumble & bumble quenching rangereview swatch photo

bumble & bumble quenching shampoo: £23*, bumble & bumble quenching CONDITIONER  £25 *, bumble & bumble quenching masque: £30* &; bumble & bumble quenching complex: £25.50*

My hair took a turn for the worse last year before getting it all lopped off and I was desperate to find products that would help quench my dry, damaged hair. B&B came to the rescue and sent the Bumble & Bumble Quenching range to put to the test and after giving it a good few months of use I’ve finally gathered my thoughts on the range.

The Bumble & Bumble Quenching range is specifically designed for “thirsty” hair. My hair at the time was extremely porous from all the colouring that’d happened to it and loved drinking up moisturising treatments, so the range was ideal. First the Bumble & Bumble Quenching Shampoo and Conditioner, these were really pleasant and did a great job at keeping my hair moisturised and soft. Both products being thick, creamy, without weighing down my fine hair. Satisfying my hair's thirst while also clarifying the hair and scalp for a deep clean. The Quenching Masque is even more rich and deeply conditioning. A real treat for the hair.

Bumble & Bumble Quenching Complex was the hero of the four products I tried from the range. A small blob run through before blow drying, my hair was left easy to comb through all while looking sleek and shiny. It’s sort of like an intensive leave in conditioner which smooths and tames the hair while adding moisture. It really secures in moisture and smooths the cuticles leaving soft, easy to manage hair.

The thing I like about Bumble & Bumble is you really don’t need a huge amount of the product to get a good clean, and for it actually work. As it’s premium haircare, its not the cheapest range on the market. I find that when I use high end haircare I can use much less than when I'd pile on cheap haircare. Overall I think the Bumble and Bumble Quenching range is perfect for dry, dull looking hair. Definitely lives up to its name of being designed for "thirsty" hair. I’ve been very happy with the quality and outcome of all the products from the Quenching range, but I whole heartedly recommend the B&B Quenching Complex. It’s the game changer.
Have you tried the B&B Quenching Range?

  2. Prior to cutting, my hair also went through a stage of being ridiculously porous, so it's good to know this range is out there just incase I ever get myself in that state again!

  27. Bumble and Bumble also have a good range called mending, which is similar to the quenching but helps damaged hair that has been lightened by putting keratin back into it.Granted, it doesn't soften it as well, but it strengthens it. I work at a salon that uses Bumble and Bumble stuff and just had the masque put on my hair today. Feels pretty awesome. It's great if you add a couple drops of vit. E oil to it and sit with some plastic wrap and a hot towel on your head for several minutes.

  29. You know, I've been hearing nothing but great things about the brand Bumble & Bumble and the wonders its products do for your hair, really might buy these products. My hair is always lovely and silky smooth and soft on the first day of washing, but I've found that if I don't apply a leave-in conditioner during the night or during the 2nd day, it gets quite dry which sucks. Been looking for a product like this for a while, so I guess this is a winner! xxx
