Benefit Big Easy Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfecter *

I’ll pop both my hands up and say I'm not a huge Benefit Fan. You can probably tell by the amount of times I feature it on this blog. Once in a blue moon. However, I was recently sent the Big Easy Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfecter and it was love from first buff. Me liking a Benefit product? Madness! But here’s why...

Gimmicky packaging aside (the main reason I DONT like Benefit) the BenefitBig Easy Multi-Balancing Complexion Perfector is a light to medium coverage base that has a light matte finish. It instantly reminded me of the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint - which is my base of choice at the moment. Matte with a hint of shine poking through, light but enough coverage, long lasting and natural looking. Tick Tick Tick Tick. Dab a few dots of concealer on my under eyes and spots and I'm good to go. Available in 6 shades (I wear 3 - light medium) and currently available online for counter launch in April.

This is definitely one for the oily skinned gals as it would definitely be TOO matte for dry skin. It’s a clinger. It’s nice to see more matte low coverage tinted moisturiser and a bit more on the market. Jouer is nice but so awkward to colour match as it’s not available in the UK on counter. Hurray for Big Easy!

  2. This sounds quite a good product, but I agree that benefits packaging is quite tacky

  7. What I really like about your posts, even if they contain things sent to you by companies, is the fact that you weigh up the pros and cons of a product and give a versatile opinion.. its so much better than a fake opinion!

  21. I'm not a fan of benefit either after spending £20 on their mascara for it to be absolutely horrific, one of the worst ones I've bought! I think I'd have to see this in person before I considered buying it, don't want to waste my money again!!!

  23. This sounds quite nice actually! The packaging would put me off a bit (bad, I know) which is strange as usually I love Benefit's packaging x

  26. I'm hearing some great things about this! I'm not really a major foundation wearer but want something with a just enough coverage. I do suffer with the oily T-Zone thing, so I may just have to give this a go!
