Faking a Model Glow

CLARINS INSTANT LIGHT RADIANCE BOOSTING COMPLEXION BASE IN 03 PEACH*

Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in 03 Peach* : £26

After months of freezing my face off in the cold London air, my skin is looking dull in a way that nothing seems to fix. Sallow skin is the bane of my life, and I feel like I’m always fighting a losing battle between want to be naturally bronzed and looking like I applied bronzer in the dark. Recently I’ve been loving the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in 03 Peach. It’s an illuminating fluid with a bronze shimmery edge. It smoothes and evens skin tone for a more luminous glow and a fresh, radiant, healthy-looking complexion. I pop this on all over my face before applying my foundation to blur everything out and give me that inner glow only models seem to posess. Or I mix it with my foundation to give that lit from within look. A drugstore dupe would be the Revlon Photo Ready Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bronze Light. It’s very similar in tone and finish, although I think the Clarins has the edge over the two, Revlon is a little more budget friendly.

  2. I have both of these on my wishlist, the Revlon one sure is more affordable, but the Clarins base would be a perfect treat-yo-self buy. :) xx

  8. i, too, suffer from very dull looking skin and my skintone is extremely uneven most of the time so this sounds like such a perfect product! my face is also the first place to fade whenever i achieve some sort of natural tan from the sun and as i've never used fake tan before, my face is the last place i want to try it out for the first time but this sounds like such a great product to give very simple and natural glow type effect! i'm definitely going to have to go and check both of these products out! :) X

  18. Hey Lily :)
It´s a pity that Clarins stuff is so damn expensive! It sounds great, but I can´t buy it, cause I´m on a budget :(
    Have a nice day!

  19. I've been mixing The Body Shop's CC cream in with my foundation to get dewy, fresh skin. It's great on top of foundation, mixed in or alone for a barely there day. Much more affordable to!
