real techniques retractable bronzer brush

I wasn't overly enthused when I heard that Real Techniques were adding to their brush line a few retractable brushes. It just didn't really interest me all that much compared to some of their other products. None the less after seeing a few of my good friends become reliant on the purse friendly brushes - I had to go see what all the fuss was about. Like all Real Techniques brushes they are designed to be used in a few ways, I like to use this as an all over powder brush. As it's a duo fibre brush, it gives a light application so it doesn't overload my face with the product. I can't imagine applying bronzer on the go with this though as it's quite a large brush.

While this brush is quite weighty for a travel brush, I do think it is a must have for any beauty junkies handbag. It's much more hygienic than shoving a brush in your bag on to go. Amazing quality brushes as always from Sam and Nic - No wonder they are the only makeup brushes I use these days!

  3. I find myself only using real technique brushes on the daily too. The brush looks good for powders and a light bronzing I guess, but I wouldn't use it for bronzing on the go.

  6. I love the idea of retractable brushes, I always worry about them getting them damaged in my bag but with them being retractable you know the bristles are safe. RT are great!

  13. I love the original Real Techniques brushes but I saw this in the shops and it looks a little more tackier than the other ones, which made me a little disappointed!

  17. I have this, but it has broken (come apart) after a few weeks! Still so much better than other retractabes though and having such oily skin I have to carry one around for applying powder!

  23. I have enough brushes already and I don't really carry around brushes, so I have been avoiding these. However after reading this, I got this sudden urge to get this brush!
