a hair exfoliator...?

Garnier Ultimate Blends Silky Smoother 1 Minute Hair Polishing Scrub review swatch photo

I’ve never ever heard of a hair scrub, but I was very intrigued when I got the Garnier Ultimate Blends Silky Smoother 1 Minute Hair Polishing Scrub. A creamy mask like product which claims to smooth and polish split ends. The Garnier Ultimate Blends range is a that I actually quite like, it has a variety of different hair products for different hair types. I’ve used Garnier Ultimate Blends The Nourishing Repairer Shampoo and Conditioner - which I felt were a nice budget friendly damaged hair duo.

The Polishing Scrub is made with micro beads suspended in an extra thick conditioner. Very odd as it does feel like one of those apricot style face scrubs… Just with less beading in. You massage it into the ends of your hair and leave for a minute and rinse. I have to admit it does leave the hair feeling slightly smoother, but I do fail to see how you can exfoliate the hair… It just doesn’t make sense to me. Kinda gimmicky, but a unique product all the same so I thought I’d share!

  1. That sounds so strange! Interesting idea, but I can't see how it would work? x

  2. Very unique. I guess that's what we call marketing. If they called it a conditioner maybe it will get better reviews. ;) thanks for sharing x

  9. This product does sound quite unique! Does it not just do the same as a conditioner would though?

  11. when i saw it i thought it was a scalp scrub, but a hair scrub? interesting... maybe the little beads scrub off the frayed ends of the hair making it smoother?... I'm looking for a good scalp scrub but on a budget, any ideas?

  13. This sounds weird, what can it be exfoliating off the hair? And don't all the beads just get stuck in your hair? Sounds worth a try though, thanks for the great review x

  14. This is weird! It even sounds like it could damage your hair more because you scrub it...
If I ever see it in the store, I might grab it to give it a try!

  18. what an odd but obvious idea - it would be great to really exfoliate the hair but detox shampoos and a good moisturise do it for me

  20. That's a strange idea, I don't think I'd buy it over a normal hair mask but I can see they'll probably sell for gimmicky value xx

  25. Hair gets a lot of build up of oil, dead skin, secretion, dead hair etc so if the massage and beads can stimulate your hair and help remove the build up I guess in a way it's exfoliating it...but otherwise i'm baffled but intrigued to try it!

  29. Yeah this sounds gimmicky as let's face face exfoliating your hair ends won't prevent split ends haha. As a conditioner this might be interesting I like the shampoo and conditioner in this range x

  33. Do You Need a Love Spell to Get Your Ex lover Back?

My Name is Vicky Lorimer, I am From Manchester in United Kingdom.i am hear to give testimony of how i got back my husband, we got married for more than 9 years and have gotten two kids. thing were going well with us and we are always happy. until one day my husband started to behave in a way i could not understand, i was very confused by the way he treat me and the kids. later that month he did not come home again and he called me that he want a divorce, i asked him what have i done wrong to deserve this from him, all he was saying is that he want a divorce that he hate me and do not want to see me again in his life, i was mad and also frustrated do not know what to do,i was sick for more than 2 weeks because of the divorce. i love him so much he was everything to me without him my life is incomplete. i told my sister and she told me to contact a spell caster, i never believe in all this spell casting of a thing. i just want to try if something will come out of it. i contacted Dr Brave for the return of my husband to me, they told me that my husband have been taken by another woman, that she cast a spell on him that is why he hate me and also want us to divorce. then they told me that they have to cast a spell on him that will make him return to me and the kids, they casted the spell and after a week my husband called me and he told me that i should forgive him, he started to apologize on phone and said that he still love me that he did not know what happen to him that he left me. it was the spell that Dr Brave casted on him that make him to come back to me today,me and my family are now happy again today. thank you Dr Brave for what you have done for me i would have been nothing today if not for your great spell. i want you my friends who are passing through all this kind of love problem of getting back their husband, wife , or ex boyfriend and girlfriend to contact bravespellcaster@gmail.com. and you will see that your problem will be solved without any delay.
