Next we have our evening skincare regime. Trying to decode the secrets of the skincare routine isnt easy, but I've been writing some basic easy to follow guides in the hope to cut out the jargon. I always find the evening routine a little more tricky than the morning as this is the step where you want to pay the most attention!
In the evening its really important to double cleanse the skin, especially if you've been wearing makeup all day. One cleanse isn't enough to throughout remove makeup and cleanse the face so do this as two steps. You could always use a separate eye makeup remover or a micellar water as a first cleanse, but always then wash your face with water and a cleanser. Wait a minute or two between treatment steps before moving on to the next. You should always try and treat your skin in the evening, here you can pile on the oils, treatments and creams to get maximum benefit while snoozing. It's also worth noting you might not need a PM moisturiser when using an oil, it really does depend on what you think your skin needs!

- FACIAL OIL (OPTIONAL)
All these steps apply regardless of your skin type (oily, dry, normal, or combination). The type of product you use in these different steps are the things that will vary from person to person. While rules and routines are made to be broken, keeping to skincare routines can really benefit the overall appearance of the skin. It can take up to 6 weeks for some products to get into action so stick with it and try to persevere!
