Facial SunscreenA decent facial sunscreen is something that is quite hard to come across. I often find that normal sunscreen can sit a little heavy on the face. Benefit Dream Screen is a very lightweight formula which is both oil and fragrance free. It has a unique silky matte finish which is unlike any facial sunscreen I’ve ever tried before. It has SPF 45 which is pretty high too.
Matte primerPart of Illamasquas most recent drop is the Illamasqua Matte Veil Primer. It’s a water based primer that contains Butyelene Glycol which helps balance oil levels and retain moisture. Light, creamy and refreshing on the skin. Patted onto the face it mattifies, helps makeup last longer and keeps the skin looking plump and hydrated.
Light baseDitch the heavy foundations and go for a refreshing tinted moisturiser. I really like the Clarins Hydra Quench Tinted Moisturizer. It’s very light and watery consistency which feels lovely on the skin. Buffed in the skin it blends seamlessly into the skin and gives light but flawless coverage.
makeup fixerUrban Decay DeSlick is a makeup setting spray which helps keep oiliness at bay. You can use it before or after makeup. De-Slick absorbs excess sebum as well as helping with surface shine with light dispersing particles. It’s a light weightless mist which will keep your makeup in place all day in the most humid of environments. It also works really well as a makeup refresher as it gives the skin a fresh pick me up when it starts to look dull or cake.
