green lipstick?

barry m review swatch photo
review swatch photo
I'm sure you've all seen this lisptick on a walk around your local Boots or Superdrug in the Barry M stand. I remember having something similar to this when i was about 13 and thinking it was one of the coolest things ever. These "green lipsticks" are actually special formulas which change colour depending on the natural alkali levels of your lips. It has a balmy look on the lips which is build able depending on how much you apply. I actually don’t like the shade it comes out on me - I think it looks really ugly. BUT it’s a fun product none the less and might look more flattering on you than it does on me!

  10. I think the concept is interesting. How come you don't like the colour on you? It is quite a blue toned pink though! I think I prefer warmer yellow toned pinks.

  14. Was put off by the initial green colour but after reading the post, I think it's clever for products to be able to adapt to your body! Wonder what shade mine would turn out :)

  15. Mine comes out like a fuchsia pink, so so bright. I don't really like how it looks on me either but the gimmick does pull you in. I like it nevertheless and it's lamely fun to see how it turns out on everyone else! Also it staaaaains!

  32. It looks lovely on you Lily, ya silly banana! Then again, I'm not fond of a baby pink lip, I much prefer a deeper fuchsia kinda shade.
